FocusU brings you an extremely engaging, surreal experience of solving a murder
mystery through its own proven experiential methodology. Imagine being in the
middle of a ‘crime’ scene — physically dusting off the area for possible
fingerprints, interrogating evasive witnesses, profiling the victim and suspects,
studying the minute details of a forensic report — all this and much more
detective work in order to solve the ‘crime’ under real-time deadlines in a
highly competitive environment.

We would need to get a large enough conference room without any tables. A good thumb rule is that if the conference room can seat all participants in cluster style with a bit of extra space left after that, that’s good enough for running the activity.
Yes, we break the team to smaller groups of 6-8 people to ensure everyone is engaged. Team members would need to switch roles and take up additional responsibilities during the course of the challenge. This keeps everyone engaged.
In all experiential activities, the teams participating don’t necessarily have to succeed for the learning outcomes to be achieved. Having said that, 80% of teams doing this activity succeed in varying degrees.
