Gift a Livelihood

About “Gift a Livelihood”
In this meaningful team activity, teams sufficiently equipped with tool kits
are challenged to put together a humble rickshaw. Be forewarned, it is not as
simple as it looks.
In an emotional finale, these rickshaws are then donated to specific NGOs/
unemployed youth, who drive away not just with a rickshaw but with a lasting
source of daily livelihood. What a way for the team to create a long-lasting impact!

Yes, we break the team to smaller groups of 6-8 people to ensure everyone is engaged. Team members would need to switch roles and take up additional responsibilities during the course of the challenge. This keeps everyone engaged.
For this activity, no setup is needed. An empty ballroom/conference room that can accommodate the said number of participants is all that is required. The building of bicycles is done without any furniture around. Usual seating for the conference can be as and how the client likes.
In all experiential activities, the teams participating don’t necessarily have to succeed for the learning outcomes to be achieved. Having said that, 80% of teams doing this activity succeed in varying degrees.
