1. “Yes Boss” – a commonly used phrase by employees. Such employees don’t have an opinion of their own; they simply say “yes” to anything and everything, without giving it a thought. Any idea, suggestion, assignment, or project given by their boss is affirmed with a “Yes Boss.” Times have changed. Companies now hire people for their intellect – it’s a knowledge economy. So, if an employee stops using his intelligence and accepts whatever comes his way, it’s an injustice to the company. “Yes Boss” behaviour alone can spoil the culture of a company in the shortest span of time. It’s time to say “no” or “I have another opinion” to your boss. I firmly believe that good bosses too want their team to challenge them, so as to make better decisions.

“Yes, I cracked it – this is way too easy, what’s next?” rang out a participant, Alok in Team 3. Just a few minutes back, we introduced a popular puzzle challenge, The Tower of Brahma, and provided some planning time for each team of 6 members to understand the puzzle as a team. The actual challenge would start right after the planning time, but here was Team 3 (and specifically our protagonist, Alok) who wanted to get going right away.

PM Narendra Modi announced the demonetization of INR 500 and INR 1000 notes and social media is replete with trolls, witty statuses, and funny videos. It has become a national topic that has left no one untouched. From Sonam Gupta memes to beggars refusing 500 notes, demonetization has made news all over the internet.
But many of us failed to notice how some people are still resisting the change while a few are adapting to it well. Long queues outside the ATMs are a common sight. People spend hours in queues to get some cash, while there are a few who are using this change as an opportunity to expand their businesses by adapting to the new situation.

Startups are blossoming across the country and so are their leaders. They are breaking trends and redefining how business is done in the industry. From making tea to making gold out of garbage, they are trending across social media with their crazy ideas. But that’s not it; they are earning huge amounts of money and getting funding from corporates too.
