WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE ENGAGEMENT SO FAR?

I went to a small town in Uttar Pradesh to conduct a 2 day workshop on Execution Excellence for an agricultural start up. This was the first workshop of their life. Most participants were farmers who had scaled up in life after years of hard work. We learned a lot about the struggles and the courage in the life of an Indian farmer. Our team was given a very emotional farewell after the workshop, with the leader saying that the FocusU team has helped his team to start a transformational journey. That will stay with me for long.

WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE TO WORK AT FOCUSU?

In my career of more that 8 years before I joined FocusU, I used to always wonder what value I was creating with my work. Apart from getting paid. I got my answer after i joined this team. In every workshop we do, we bring value in the life of participants. either in the form of smiles, reflections, bonding or memories. I am delighted every day because i know what meaning I am bringing in this world every day.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE FOCUSU CULTURE?

In one word – “Real”!. I have worked with few organizations before joining FocusU. All of them had tall claims of culture and Values. it all was so superficial. Value often decorate the walls and not the conduct of people. in FocusU the culture is so homely, people are full of empathy and everyone lives the values of C.H.O.P.S. every single day.

HAVE YOU BEEN ABLE TO FOLLOW YOUR INTERESTS?

I take pride in saying that, all of us get an amazing independence in FocusU to decide the course of our careers. I usually get bored doing the same thing for long. But I get enough opportunities here to keep trying new things, keep learning and keep growing. Even a personal hobby of writing poems is encouraged by the team so I started writing back again after a gap of a decade.
