During his stint with Brooke Bond Lipton India Limited (now Hindustan Unilever Limited), he worked with coveted brands like Red Label, 3 Roses, Taj Mahal Bru, Deluxe Green Label, Tripti, Café, among many others.
He runs a unique boutique consulting outfit branded Harish Bijoor Consults Inc with a presence across the markets of Hong Kong, Seattle, London, Istanbul, Dubai, and the Indian subcontinent.
Harish has recently published a book titled, “Marketing Trends: Smart Insights into the World of Indian Business,” a consequential book written in a style that is distinctly young and MTV-ish! He is penning his second book on core branding. The book is titled, “Brand Irrationals: A Fundamental Journey into Brand-Think.”
Harish is actively involved in research relating to rural consumer behavior, rural retail networks, and trade mechanisms at play. The current research exercise he is undertaking spans six years and covers 84,850 consumers across India.
He also contributes regularly to business publications on branding, sales, distribution, and related topics
Harish has been a faculty member at the Indian School of Business for over 20 years. He is also an eminent public speaker at forums related to General Management, Sales, Retailing, Consumer Behavior, Techno-branding, and allied areas.
He loves quizzing and is an active business and marketing quiz master. It’s a no-brainer- he also loves coffee!
