Calum Chace, currently encouraging the world to acknowledge the ways in which AI will be changing almost everything about being a human, holds a very interesting and knowledgeable career trajectory.
During his extensive 30 years in the journalism industry, he trained as a journalist with BBC, wrote a column for the FT, worked with influential organizations such as KPMG and BP, and served as the CEO of many businesses. He also co-founded the Economic Singularity Club where like-minded academics, writers, and technologists resolve the matters of mass technological unemployment.
Besides his core career as a journalist, strategy consultant, and entrepreneur, his education also plays a role in the impact that he creates through his books and talks. As he pursued philosophy at Oxford, he noticed many common grounds between science fiction and philosophy.
