Storyline

Leadership makes all the difference in organizations. Effective leaders execute better and deliver long-term business results. The challenges that they need to grapple with while doing this are many:

  • How to manage the performance of team members?
  • How to keep employees engaged?
  • How to display situational leadership?
  • Which tasks to prioritize? When to delegate and how?

FocusU in association with KNOLSKAPE brings iLead – a self-paced simulation which is designed to help participants build leadership capabilities. It puts participants in the role of a team manager, who is required to achieve business objectives by energizing and inspiring the team while responding to their needs. To succeed, participants are expected to use a variety of leadership styles in response to tough situations that emerge within the simulation.

By enabling participants to experience and work through such challenges which are as close to real life as possible, the simulation analytics and debrief sessions (optional) by the facilitators help participants in deriving great insight into leadership as a skill.

The simulation throws up useful analytics for individual participants that includes:

The simulation addresses generic challenges encountered at the workplace. The customisation to the specific cohort as per their industry / company situation is done by the Facilitator running the session.

Simulations can be delivered in virtual or in-person mode. This simulation cannot be delivered asynchronously, since the learning happens from the group interactions.
