For the uninitiated, quizzes are a great way to mix fun, engagement and learning. Whether you are a learner or someone looking to engage your team, if you have not tried quizzes, you are missing something ubercool.
The Quizmodo Challenge kicks off with participants logging on to our custom portal through their mobile phones (or desktops or laptops or tablets) and entering their unique participant code that gives them an entry into their customised quiz! Once inside, participants are broken up into different teams, who then face off against each other in multiple rounds of fun & intense quizzing. There are different built in mechanisms from layouts to animated micro-interactions, to appropriate music, that make this a fast paced, engaging, edge-of-the-seat experience for participants.
The constantly changing fortunes in the leader board add another level of excitement as team members scramble to collaborate and scale up to the topmost position.
The Quizmodo Challenge – is an interesting activity that can drive collaboration, engagement and learning – all at the same time. The instant feedback that participants get to their answers triggers the reward systems in their brains, making them increasingly motivated and engaged.
The activity can be run purely as an engagement activity or as an activity with a purposeful debrief at the end. The topics can be customised to the organizational context of the team, the organization, any specific initiative (like say D&I), a mix of these or be restricted purely to trivia. When debriefed, the activity is brought to a close with participants sharing their different thoughts, experiences and insights from the activity and connecting the experience back to their different workplace situations. As a finale, we unveil the top 3 teams – to loud cheers from one and all.
