Most misunderstandings and conflicts in teams happen because very often we don’t understand each other well enough. As humans, most of us suffer from what is called the “fundamental attribution error” – a cognitive bias to assume that a person’s actions depend on what “kind” of person that person is rather than on the social and environmental forces that influence the person.
So the better we know a person, chances are – the better our interpersonal relationships are.
