Working on Joyflar – a new business venture of FocusU.

WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE TO WORK AT FOCUSU?

I think since I have joined FocusU, I have just learnt to be a better person. its easier to be more caring, humble and just be yourself, making life much easier.
At FocusU, importance is always given to the more important and meaningful aspects of life.

WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO CHOOSE FOCUSU?
I chose to join FocusU for the following reasons:
⦁ The Quality of work: It all started by attending a workshop conducted by FocusU, where I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of output – the learning activities, the debriefs and the conduct of the Facilitation team.
⦁ Consistency of experience while interacting with team members from FocusU. Whether it was Rakesh, Arun, Lakshmi or any other team member that I interacted with, I always had a positive experience, aligned to the values of the company.
⦁ Importance of the values – it was very evident that FocusU placed a lot of importance to their values of CHOPS. In my interview with Arun, he actually gave me examples of how these values are lived at FocusU.
⦁ Direction being adopted by the company – I was quite attracted to the direction that FocusU was taking and how it could impact my role here. It would push me beyond my comfort zone and I was excited about it.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE FOCUSU CULTURE?
⦁ Deeply Caring. Individual’s well-being is more important than anything else. Performance happens naturally. At every level of the organization.
⦁ Open – anyone can openly speak out without being afraid of any consequences. Very safe enviornment. This helps avoid wasting energy on unnecessary stuff and puts it to good use – like dleivering high quality learning experiences for customers.
⦁ Fun – it’s easy to be around. Theres something fun happening all the time.
