Our team comprises an eclectic mix of individuals, who share a common belief: any learning can happen only when people are fully engaged. And hence, as Walt Disney said, “Laughter is no enemy to learning,”

We bring a wide variety of personal life experiences into our workshops. Also the fact that many of us come from blue chip companies like Hewlett Packard, HUL, Ogilvy & Mather, Aon Hewitt – and are in this business for the love of it, makes a very big difference.

2) ONLY THE UNCONVENTIONAL & BESPOKE

Whatever be the engagement for which you look us up, we look at unconventional ways to approach that problem. If we cannot find a way to make the intervention engaging, we would rather not do it. We just don’t like the cookie cutter approach – which is why every single one of our interventions are bespoke ones, crafted with a lot of thought and planning.

We believe that every opportunity we get to conduct a workshop for our customers is a privilege.

We acknowledge that we are not the cheapest vendor for such services in the market – and whenever customers decide to go with us, the premium that they pay is a sacred trust that they place on us.

We hold ourselves deeply accountable to live up to that faith – every single time. And for us, this is not a marketing gimmick or just words on paper – this is our unconditional promise & commitment to our customers.

What this means is that, at the end of a workshop, should a customer come up to us and say they are not satisfied with the FocusU experience, for whatever reason – we will not charge them a single rupee in fees. The only thing that we would ask of them is to give us a detailed feedback for our own improvement.

4) ONCE WE ARE HIRED – IT IS OUR BABY COMPLETELY

We love to go beyond the brief that is shared with us. We may be hired only for running the workshop, but once we are hired for an engagement – it is our workshop. Which means we take complete ownership for parts that are ours, and also for other parts being run by our client – advising them, helping them, looking out for them and co-ordinating for them.

Running more than 500 workshops a year, has also given us a sixth sense of smelling what could potentially go wrong in an engagement. And warding it off in time.

5) LOCAL DESTINATION EXPERTISE

We run an average of more than 500 workshops a year in India. And these workshops are spread out all across the country. What this means is that our teams are widely travelled and chances are, we have perhaps been in the hotel venue where you are planning to have your offsite or training in. This first-hand experience and the relationships we share with the hotel staff has often come handy in crafting customised learning experiences that make best use of the facilities available.

6) SAFETY FIRST


With FocusU you are always in safe hands. Safety is in fact one of our core values.

All our Facilitators are first-aid certified. Which means that in the unlikely instance of a medical emergency during a session, our Facilitators are trained for immediate first level of response.

7) EXCELLENT VALUE


Indians are not cost conscious – but they are value conscious. This is a reality that we have experienced first hand in the many years of work here in India.

We are not the cheapest in the market. We are transparent about our pricing too. But the very fact that more than 70% of our customers keep coming back to us every year, tells us we are adding uncommon value through our engagements.
