Fostering Leadership and Team Cohesion: The Union’s MBTI-Based Workshop for Senior Healthcare Professionals

The Union collaborated with FocusU to conduct a two-day MBTI-based leadership workshop for senior healthcare professionals. Aimed at fostering better self-understanding and team cohesion, the workshop utilized the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to help participants uncover their personality types and understand each other’s working styles.

Prior to the workshop, participants completed an online MBTI assessment, which informed the in-person sessions. The workshop began with discussions on the nuances of personality types, encouraging participants to explore their own and their colleagues’ behavioral tendencies. Through experiential activities and open dialogue, the group gained insights into how diverse personalities impact teamwork and decision-making.

The workshop succeeded in building mutual respect and understanding within the team, laying the groundwork for improved collaboration.
