“A global technology leader sought an innovative Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) intervention to address unconscious biases in the workplace. Traditional training methods often failed to create lasting awareness, so the company partnered with FocusU to develop a gamified, engaging learning experience.

FocusU designed Café-Clue-Day, an immersive, narrative-driven solution set in a serene Himalayan town. The experience placed participants in a vacation scenario unfolding within a quaint restaurant. Through six progressive levels and a bonus knowledge check, participants explored key biases such as recency bias, first impression bias, stereotypes, affinity bias, the halo effect, and proximity bias.

The execution ensured deep learning through thought-provoking challenges, interactive storytelling, and emotional connection. The impact was significant—participants gained greater awareness of unconscious biases, learned practical strategies to mitigate them, and contributed to a cultural shift toward inclusivity.
