Khaitan & Co | Pathfinder: A 7-Week Virtual Onboarding Adventure through microleaerning for Law Graduates

Khaitan & Co partnered with FocusU to deliver an innovative, virtual onboarding experience, titled “Pathfinder,” for 48 new law graduates. This seven-week journey aimed to introduce associates to the firm’s culture, history, and policies through a travel-themed storyline, accessible via an app. Starting with team-building activities and insights from senior associates, participants “visited” firm locations across India, engaged in diverse challenges, and gained a comprehensive understanding of workplace expectations.

Each week, associates tackled activities like policy-based quizzes, virtual hikes symbolizing career aspirations, and collaborative tasks that fostered team bonding. The app provided features like a leaderboard and an activity feed, promoting friendly competition and continuous engagement. The onboarding experience concluded with a treasure hunt, symbolizing the firm’s core values, which participants retrieved through various puzzles.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with associates feeling well-prepared and connected to their colleagues. The interactive format was praised for its effectiveness in virtual onboarding, helping new hires form meaningful connections and adapt smoothly to the firm’s culture and professional environment.
