Empowering Future Leaders: Unilever Bangladesh’s Influence Workshops for Entry-Level Executives
Unilever Bangladesh collaborated with FocusU to conduct a series of Influence Workshops for entry-level executives across Dhaka and Chittagong. These workshops aimed to empower participants—each responsible for overseeing seven field-level DSO teams—with essential influence skills to enhance leadership capabilities. The two-day sessions were based on the Cohen Bradford Influencing Model, focusing on practical approaches to leadership through influence rather than authority.
The workshops combined experiential activities with open discussions, making serious concepts accessible and engaging. This method enabled participants to absorb and apply key lessons on stakeholder relationships, effective goal-setting, and influencing through mutual benefits. The playful, interactive structure resonated well with attendees, facilitating a shift toward more impactful, relationship-driven leadership.
Feedback from participants and HR Business Partner Taslima Hasnat Jaigirder was overwhelmingly positive, emphasizing FocusU’s unique, enjoyable approach to training. The workshops were praised for the energy and enthusiasm they generated, as well as the immediate relevance of the learning outcomes. Unilever Bangladesh expressed a keen interest in future collaborations with FocusU due to the program’s success.
