Empowering Interns: A Virtual Workshop Series for Reckitt Benckiser on Impactful Communication and Presentation Skills
Reckitt Benckiser (RB) partnered with FocusU to design an intern engagement program for 32 interns from top campuses. This virtual initiative aimed to prepare interns for the corporate world by enhancing their presentation and communication skills, with an emphasis on navigating a virtual platform (MS Teams) effectively. Divided into two parts, the program included a foundational workshop covering the principles of impactful presentations (Design, Delivery, Drive) and familiarizing interns with MS Teams.
In the second phase, interns presented their work, applying skills from the first session, and received constructive feedback to improve. Customized workbooks allowed interns to capture and revisit learnings, reinforcing experiential learning principles. The sessions were highly interactive, blending theoretical insights with practical applications to ensure interns felt prepared and confident in their presentations.
Feedback from RB highlighted the program’s structured approach, praising its combination of theory and hands-on practice. This successful engagement enabled interns to build critical skills, empowering them to make a strong impression in a virtual corporate environment.
