Maressa spends her free time working informally towards gender equality in India, an issue that pervades the workplace, public space, and home life. As a practitioner of Krav Maga, the Israeli martial art, Maressa firmly believes in the ability of every individual to mentally and physically protect him or herself. In addition to her love of language, music, and travel, Maressa enjoys a nice cup of coffee, a good book, and a scenic view!
